
ACROVITA STORY
Sarah is a licensed physical therapist, wellness professional, and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals improve their health, mobility, fitness, and quality of life. Her professional philosophy centers on prevention, education, and empowering people with practical strategies to live stronger, healthier, and more active lives.
Sarah graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia (Mizzou) in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. While at Mizzou, she served as Student Fitness Program Manager for the MU Aerobics Program, developing innovative fitness programming for university recreation clients. Her leadership and contributions were recognized with the Significant Contribution Award and the Director’s Award for Outstanding Service.
Following graduation, Sarah practiced outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and served as a physical therapy clinic manager. She treated a wide range of orthopedic conditions while developing a particular passion for patient education, injury prevention, and helping people take an active role in their own health. She also practiced aquatic physical therapy, working with patients recovering from spinal surgery and other medical conditions.
Today, Sarah continues to combine her clinical expertise with her extensive fitness and wellness background through Acrovita. Her vision is to provide thoughtfully designed services, resources, and recommendations that support safer, healthier, more active lifestyles. She is passionate about helping individuals make informed choices that enhance their well-being, comfort, independence, and quality of life.
